Imagine village life on the Norfolk Broads where a bike or a buggie is all you need to get around. Having a safe pleasant route for walking and cycling between popular villages on the Broads is no longer a new idea! Local people continue to pursue the dream of creating The Three Rivers Way, a safe, pleasant route enabling locals and visitors, whatever their abilities, to make a short journey without using a car.

The aim is to link four villages on three Northern Broads rivers – the Bure, the Ant and the Thurne – with paths fit for the purpose and existing quiet lanes creating a route called the Three Rivers Way. The Three Rivers Way Association exists to promote this route and works in partnership with Norfolk County Council and the Broads Authority and others.

- Everyone who loves the countryside would benefit too
- Footpaths and lanes become linked to form circular trails

- No matter what your mobility, the countryside becomes accessible, independently
- Cycling and jogging through countryside becomes more pleasant and safer
